More Provision!

We have not long been back from our site visit (...and I promise to blog about that soon...with actual pictures and everything...hold me to it!)  It is looking more and more certain that we will be leaving at some point (probably about a year from now, we are thinking) and have really not known what would become of our goat herd.  Honestly, we just assumed that as it came time to go, we would just load up the goats and take them to the sale barn to be auctioned off for meat, or whatever...not at all what we would want to do, but we could do it if needed.  So...imagine our amazement...when not even a week back home, Luke gets a phone call out of the blue from someone who was interested in buying a few doe goats from us (and we weren't even advertising them, or thinking of selling them, since they are about to kid)!  But wait...it gets even better...they come out to see which ones they want...at which point Luke explains to them that ordinarily we would not be interested in selling goats that were so close to kidding, but since we were preparing to leave the country...etc...etc...at which point they want to know how much we would take for the entire herd!  We decide to keep our two favorite "pet" goats, and Luke prices the rest of them.  The rest, as they say, is history...our herd of goats got a new home!  And...like it always seems to be with the Lord...the solution was so much better than anything we could have come up with on our own.  Feeling so blessed and cared for at this moment.
